Welcome to the temporary cyberhome of The Green Bean!

We are new to this inter web thingy, so please bear with us (and the lack of flashy images) while we find our feet and get a whizzy IT guy to build us a proper site.

Indulgence with a conscience

At the Green Bean we serve delicious coffees that have been sourced from environmentally friendly producers. All our coffee is organic and fairtrade.

The food we serve is also sourced with similar principles in mind. This includes our mouth-watering cakes, flapjacks and chocolate brownies which are either locally produced or certified organic. Plus, some are even suitable for vegan and gluten-free diets.

For those with a savoury palate, we offer a range of scrumptious rolls and toasted paninis filled with an assortment of organic and local cheeses, meats and spreads. Other options include our free range quiche lorraine and tasty organic pies served with a side salad of fresh greens. Or why not try the new ploughman's platter, served just the way a ploughman's should be!
